27: The One With Jennifer From Speech Therapy Plans
Released January 30, 2019
Introduction
This episode features Jennifer Bradley from Speech Therapy Plans! In this episode, we discuss all that Speech Therapy Plans has to offer busy SLPs, her tips for first year SLPs working in the schools, and her journey as a mom of a child with apraxia of speech.
We were humbled that Jennifer agreed to share about her son's treatment for apraxia of speech (AOS) at the renowned Kaufman Children's Center in Michigan. Jennifer admitted it was hard to accept that her son needed to see someone who specialized in AOS. However, she was glad she trusted her gut and got him help early on, because he was treated for AOS and discharged within a year!
Jennifer is not only an incredible mom and SLP, but a savvy SLPboss who created Speech Therapy Plans - a company that provides versatile and engaging materials so you can spend more time doing what you love!
We loved getting to know Jennifer better, and can't wait to share this episode with you!
